Abstract
One Last breath is series of mixed media works that combine my photographs of women at HPA, with imagery of violence against women in Mexico or with stories that describe that violence. I will be capturing portraits of women in the boarding community. My intent with this work will be to show how women feel when they encounter these violent situations and live in fear, and my goal is to promote empathy and awareness. Ultimately, these works will give a voice to women who could not fight against this problem.
