Abstract
The idea is simple, each character is composed of one part that explains its meaning and another part that explains how it’s pronounced (called meaning and pronunciation part). The two parts can be arranged left-right or up-down to form a character.
Based on these guidelines, I substitute English letters as the pronunciation part and Chinese as the meaning part. Then, to fit English into a character, I simplified English writing. These characters are called English-Chinese characters.
After that, I kept the English pronunciation part but replace the meaning part with more recognizable graphic symbols, like a heart. Then, I tried to substitute other languages’ letters for the characters’ pronunciation parts. These characters are called Graphic characters.
