Maile Puckett

Hello, my name is Maile Puckett, and Iʻm a senior at HPA. I have been at HPA since Kindergarten and have lived in Waimea my whole life. Growing up, my parents had a booth at our local Farmers Market selling wheatgrass shots, sprouts, and smoothies; and were both getting certified as Nutritionists. This influenced me at a young age the importance of health and wellness, and I later found my interest in holistic health and naturopathy.

Abstract

Holistic health/naturopathy involves healing through natural remedies and practices. I have implemented this passion of mine into making a “Holistic First-Aid” Kit, which will have all-natural remedies replacing the standard components. I have also started an Instagram page to educate my community on plants that can be grown in Waimea that medicinally/holistically benefit oneself.
