Abstract
My capstone Smile and Struggle, consists of a single written and composed by me and the help of my peers and mentors. The other half of my capstone is a visual presentation. The single will be about the effects of poverty on the human mind, with the end goal of bringing awareness to this world issue and helping others appreciate more for what they have. My visual presentation will be presenting the change in music over the past few decades, including the message most songs currently portray compared to a decade ago, what has been lost in music in the past decade, and more.
